The ship was fine, the service and staff were excellent, the food was good.
The included excursions were a bit of a joke. At some stops you could not even get on one of the included excursions because they were full. Most of the ports/stops were terrible - had to tender in, towns very small with little or nothing to see or do. The Viking Star stopped at a number of the same places we did - they always got the best docking/anchoring location.
There were way too many changes to our itinerary and schedule after booking this cruise. The choice of locations were poor. We were unable to stop at two

The free city/area tours were not good. With the exception of Quebec city.
The hotel at Montreal Intercontinental was a dark and dingy hotel

The Neptune is our favorite ship in all our cruising history. We admire thr clean, Scandinavian decor and interior. The museum, gamè areas, coffee bar, and extensive library were nice.
We enjoyed Manfredi's 6 nights. We chose not to book the Chefs Table as the menus had at least one course my husband did not like. Missing the 3 ports was very disappointing, but the 50% future travel voucher assuaged our emotions. 2 Iceland ports had very weak excursions/guides. They were not up to other Viking guides on ruver cruises. Maybe due to the size of the communities.
