“Northern lights”
5 Stars
Ship: Viking Venus
Cruise Date: 02/17/2024
Destination: Europe
They were visible several times while we were there one night they were excellent from about 10 to 1045. Crew was very helpful announcing if they had been seen if it were before 10 o’clock after 10 o’clock you could make a request to be called if the northern lights were being visible food was excellent. They didn’t seem to have as good entertainment this time basically musicians and a singing group that was pretty good.

Ship: Viking Jupiter
Cruise Date: 01/26/2024
Destination: South America
Viking gave us a wonderful trip. Excellent staff, food, cleanliness, sailing. However, our one negative was that unless we upsized out cabin to a higher level, the tours available to us were sub par. We felt that if there was more demand for a particular tour, why restrict it to only those who could pick it out first due to a higher fee cabin. We did miss a couple of ports due to weather and for our trip, it was the Falklands, one of the main reasons to go on this cruise. Lastly, we questioned the airline choices that were given to us. We felt that to get back and forth to our ship, our s

Ship: Viking Orion

We really enjoyed this cruise to Southeast Asia. The various destinations we stopped at were great with lots to see. The only negative is that our ship stopped at ports that were far from the various cities and towns. All the guides we had on tours were all friendly and knowledgeable.

This was my first Viking Cruise, and it was amazing. I have done many Carribean cruises over the years, mainly Royal Carribbean cruises, but I stopped booking those trips, given that the experience was lackluster. Viking was perfect in all respects. The boat was immaculate and the perfect size, given the number of passengers. The food was great, and the service was extraordinary. Loved meeting many staff members, and felt like I was leaving friends behind (Rot, Peter, Michael, Ramya, Zeus, and Adrian.) If I never take another cruise, I can rest easy knowing that I did the best.

“Wonderful trip to Japan and Southeast Asia”
5 Stars
Ship: Viking Orion
Cruise Date: 10/10/2023
Destination: Asia
Viking’s crews were excellent and attentive as usual. Japanese people were so polite and helpful. Hong Kong and Taipei were beautiful and warm. Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand were so hot and humid. The royal palace and temples in Bangkok were beautiful. The food in all countries were amazing, especially Hong Kong and Bangkok. I will come back just for the street foods in Hong Kong, Taipei, and Bangkok.

Ship: Viking Neptune
Cruise Date: 08/07/2023
Destination: USA/Canada
The ship was fine, the service and staff were excellent, the food was good. The included excursions were a bit of a joke. At some stops you could not even get on one of the included excursions because they were full. Most of the ports/stops were terrible - had to tender in, towns very small with little or nothing to see or do. The Viking Star stopped at a number of the same places we did - they always got the best docking/anchoring location. There were way too many changes to our itinerary and schedule after booking this cruise. The choice of locations were poor. We were unable to stop at two

My first ever cruise. I think I was a bit disappointed because I had super high expectations. To me, it was all just okay, except the service, and the spa. Those were excellent. I'd have liked more free time to explore a bit during the hiking bits on the excursions.

Ship: Viking Mars
Cruise Date: 04/18/2023
Destination: Asia
We found the Viking Mars (which, as I understand, is the same as all their ships) to be comfortable, spacious, and well appointed. With the Thermal Spa, Wintergarden and ample places to hang out we enjoyed sea days in a way we never did before. The staff was friendly, the service was very good. The the ship quickly becomes your floating home away from home. This is not a cruise if you are into lively music and blockbuster shows. The entertainers we did have were quite adequate, mostly low key. The exception was the duo in the nightclub bar (Torshavn) - they were as good as we've seen at

“Iceland adventure”

Ship: Viking Neptune
Cruise Date: 06/06/2023

The Neptune is our favorite ship in all our cruising history. We admire thr clean, Scandinavian decor and interior. The museum, gamè areas, coffee bar, and extensive library were nice. We enjoyed Manfredi's 6 nights. We chose not to book the Chefs Table as the menus had at least one course my husband did not like. Missing the 3 ports was very disappointing, but the 50% future travel voucher assuaged our emotions. 2 Iceland ports had very weak excursions/guides. They were not up to other Viking guides on ruver cruises. Maybe due to the size of the communities. The Norovirus outbreak, closur

The first week in Iceland was excellent--we had sunny days and temperatures in the low fifties. Then came the news that Greenland and Newfoundland would be cancelled. The four consecutive days at sea proved to be long and fog and cloudy weather only made them seem longer.

This was our first "expedition cruise" and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Viking does an excellent job especially as far as the service on the ship is concerned and a lot of credit for this should go to the General Manager [Wendy Gouws] & her staff.

“Rome to Barcelona ”
4 Stars
Ship: Viking Star
Cruise Date: 05/22/2023
Destination: Europe
Did Rome on our own because the trip had nothing to do with Rome. Left from Civitevechia, Port of Rome. Cruise included hour and half bus trip to Florence didn't have water for the return trip. My wife had requested alcohol free wine for the Cruise, which they had, but had to scramble to find it each time it was requested. Won't bother with beefs by other cruisers, but the consensus was that this was their last Viking Cruise.
