the food in the buffet was quite boring and the same, pasta and pizza, there was no Gluten Free options in the Buffet, there was a gluten free menu in the main diningroom that i used. Food was plain , not much taste or flavour from the buffet options. the italian clientel were rude, jumping ahead of others, yelling at others, one lady tried to run the elevator car because her husband was late, she yelled etc, will never take another WSC cruise again. we took a tour in Istambul, we never saw the Grand Bazaar, we were dropped off on a street that was nothing but hi-end, what a letdown the tour

Whilst the service is up to expectations and on par with the rest of the main stream cruise companies, the same cannot be said on the quality & variety of food on this ship. Our dining room waiter, Mr Witana from Indonesia deserves top marks for his excellent service and taking care of our table on a nightly basis. Our room steward also works hard to keep our cabin neat & tidy everyday.

We loved the European vibe on this cruise. We had great service, very good shows and the food was good. There are not a lot of restaurants or food options. The ship was clean. We normally cruise Royal Caribbean so this was a slower pace cruise for us. Overall a good experience for my wife and I.

MSC is a low-budget, Italian cruise line where you get what you pay for. The food was terrible so if you look at it as transportation and a place to sleep, that's the best of it. They choose cheaper ports to dock, and the one port that was the most expensive we only had 4 hours there; not much time to see anything noteworthy. I would definitely look at other cruise lines in the future in order to enhance my experience.

MSC POESIA July 6 to 13, 2019 Cabin 11178 We chose this ship as the only one in our time frame to see the Norwegian Fjords. EMBARKATION was smooth and quiet (In Copenhagen). Two boardings for this cruise. One in Copenhagen and another in Germany. You felt the crowds after balance boarded in Germany. Ship is huge with all lounges and public areas very nicely appointed. Two decks with lounges, shopping, Theater, library and more. DINING First sitting is 6:30 and 2nd is 8:45 unlike what is mentioned on internet. Same times as any other cruise ship. MSC did a great job. first time on a cruise.

Ports of call way better than expected. Dining service exceptional. Food average. Cabin service good. Paying for water and icecream a bother. In general we had a good time.

The ship was beautiful, great itinerary but the food was not good!

Pros: - Ship layout, condition, cleanliness and features - Cabin design and functionality - Restaurant and cabin steward staff were excellent Cons: - Water & coffee not served with restaurant meals ... must pay for water & coffee - Food quality is bland, cold/dry and small quantities - Baggage was not delivered on embarkation ... had to roam around the ship to located our bags - Two of five (Bari & Katakolon) were insignificant ports of call ... more time needed in Istanbul and Dubrovnik

MSC Poesia was by far the worst ship we were on in all our cruises..help was rude & non caring...they do not cater to AMERICAN'S they could care less...I would never go on another MSC cruise ship ever again..Food was never hot, no taste,& not the way you ordered it. Life boat tenders should never have been used in Bermuda with the seas so choppy, many people got hurt. I could go on longer but what for NEVER< NEVER again

Beautiful MSC ship, they just need to work on a few things to make it a great time.

Didn't realize that children under 12 go free. Too many children for an old timer like me.

This was my first time with MSC and I found them to be more pleasing to europeans than americans. It was a beutifull ship and I had a great time anyway.
