The Mardi Gras is a fantastic ship with so many things to do, such a variety of very good food, tremendous service, a A+ Cruise Director, clean and there was a roller coaster. My grandchildren range from 6 to 20 and all them enjoyed themselves, as well as a nephew and niece that went along. All together we traveled with a party of 11 and were extremely well taken care of. We have been always a Royal Caribbean cruiser and this was our first time going on Carnival "Mardi Gras". We were honestly astounded by how incredible the customer service was that we received from ALL the crew members we encountered. The ocean cabin layout was great and spacious. The decor in the room was very understated and tasteful, with blue and beige colors, which we felt very welcoming Carnival ships. The staff was so very accommodating, the restaurant food was delicious and the accommodations were first class. The cruise director was ultra entertainment!!!

Ship is to big, understaffed, to many people gathering in one spot. If you don't drink and hang out in bar area, there is really nothing to do. I will not cruise on this Ship again. The drink machine did not work for the first today, you had to go from one spot to another to get ice or drinks. Nothing special about the food.
