“A memorable trip!”

This cruise was much better than expected. The cruise staff was exceptional. There were only 2 questionable staff on board; everyone else was quite hospitable. Our port of call included Cozumel and Progresso (Yucatan). My party of five enjoyed the cruise, activities, excursions, and most of all the countries that we visited.

A cruise is always good when with friends. Stateroom attendant was great. Dining room service was awful, we had to ask for everything from refills to extra items. And that was if they came near our table so we could get their attention. And slack at taking empty dishes away, we would have our appetizer dishes still on table and they would bring the main dish. Next to last night they must have gotten a talking to cause last night they were over bearing in ways. - This was a first time that we didn’t give extra tips to our waiters.

We went with a group of 30 friends and had a wonderful time. Our pre-arranged scuba excursion was cancelled, but our other excursion, a pub crawl was a new experience. Our travel agent did a GREAT job.

Balcony cabin and room stewart were Great. Food tasty, interesting and abundant. Dining service was polite, pleasant and quick. Shore excursions were as advertised, especially liked the cooking one in Progresso. I even enjoyed the rough seas from Galveston to Cozumel, sitting on "our" balcony watching the waves and clouds. Embarking and disembarking were much easier this time compared to 10 years ago when it was tiring and a nightmare finding our luggage. This time was so simple and quick. I really appreciated the many improvements that Carnival has made. I also like the Cruise Director

I started with Carnival in 1982 when it was a great cruise; with wonderful entertainment and over the top dining. It has declined to the point that I feel out of place because of the "young generation that has taken place.
