Dress Code
What Should I Pack?
The first thing to remember is that you're on vacation and you are onboard Carnival Cruises’ ‘Fun Ships’ to have a good time. Secondly, remember to travel light. Keeping these two pieces of advice in mind are very important for packing.
Casual attire and resort wear is typically appropriate attire onboard and in-port. Shorts, slacks, sundresses, blouses, sandals, etc., are appropriate for women, and clothing for men is just as casual. Travelers might also want to consider bringing along a sweater or jacket for cool evenings and inexpensive rain gear in case of a sudden shower. While restaurants typically have casual dress code, there are also instances where you may visit a specialty restaurant or attend a special Captain’s Cocktail Party and Gala Farewell Dinner that requires business casual or formal attire. For days in port where you will be participating in various shore excursions, you should dress accordingly to the dress codes of the sites you are visiting, as well as bring a pair of sneakers for strenuous walking.
Formal Wear: Men: suit and tie, sport coat, tie and slacks; Women: evening dresses, cocktail dresses; pantsuits.
Casual Resort Wear: Men: sport shorts, slacks; Women: dresses, skirts, shorts, Capri pants.
*Please Note: Shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, and bathing attire are not permitted in the Dining Room during dinner.
